Called is counted from the official merit list, by each candidate's own category. Seats taken is counted from the official seat display, by the category of the seat, whoever took it. A candidate who took no seat may have been absent, may have declined, or may have chosen already in the Science round. The display does not say which. The row for candidates without a seat takes it that only the candidates called that day took seats that day.

Each ratio counts only the seats of the category itself. Open seats are extra: any candidate may take one, in order of merit.
The figures take it that every candidate still to be called will choose a seat. Not every candidate called so far has. A candidate called on an earlier day who did not choose is not counted.
Still to be called is counted from the official merit list, and seats left are read from the official seat display.
